I love the painting of the girl reading but would you read in such a dress?
ReplyDeleteI love your list of books, I will look into them.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love that painting. Thanks for sharing it.
What a magnificent piece of art - and notice that she must have put away her knitting/winding yarn balls to enable her to have some reading time. Love the velvet cushion for her dainty shoes.
ReplyDeleteI'm working on my reading list too - topping it is Paris Wife - really want to get that one about Ernest Hemingway and his wife.
Happy weekend - Mary
