It's always a pleasant experience
to pay a visit to Balboa Park
and see what there is to see . . .
. . . here is a taste of what was on offer a couple of weeks ago.
It's rather surreal to see a plant you normally encounter as an indoor plant
in a smallish pot now looming before you as an enormous giant,
much taller than you are!
Note the jetliner! They come in low and fast
on their way into San Diego airport.
We also paid a visit to the San Diego Museum of Art.

ReplyDeleteWe have a similar place in Cornwall called The Eden Project, where you can see the most interesting plants from all over the world.
We visited Balboa Park about 7 years ago, and really enjoyed our time there.
