2021 Book List

Well, here is the final version of my 2021 reading list.  Not even 20 books completed!

Funny, because I'm reading something every day . . . prayers, Scriptures, one book or another that gets read over and over because it helps keep me positive and on track, encouraged and hopeful.   I don't tally these on my list.  Currently I'm also reading my way through the Orthodox Study Bible. I split it up into five somewhat arbitrary sections (History, Psalms, Wisdom, Prophets, Gospel, Epistles) and try to read a chapter from each section most days.  I do well for a while and then, oops!, three days have passed and I let life intervene too far.  Or I spent too much time scrolling through all the loveliness on social media platforms. But, as another blogger recently wrote, we need that too.  Beauty and goodness and wonderful photographs of places we would otherwise never get to visit and enjoy.

I wonder what 2022 will look like come next December.  Only time will tell.

  3. Oh my - you should mention how very long The Ethics of Beauty is! It seems to me that one or two books like that would fill you up for a year.
